A handmade acrylic portrait of two Fulani Children I happen to have met while being in the Village of Kure, a Giraffepark in the Midst of the Sahara, Niger.
The boy caught my eye because his features were as noble as horse. He had a very serene expression, and you could see the love he held for his sister who never left his side. What was exalting was the closeness and the hospitality these local tribes have. I felt welcome and they did not treat you as a foreigner.
I wanted to paint this boy and girl to the background of a warm sunset. Because this is how I had experienced my stay there,
