Here I present to you the astoundishing Sunna. The Norse Goddess of the Sun in all her Heroic Prose and Radiance.
She is one of the Aesir and of the famous Walkure ( Valkyrie) who were send by the gods to carry those who had fallen on the battlefield and to fly them to Walhalla. The Walkure were both terrifying and beautiful at once.
She is a beautiful merge of an Ancient European Culture and Baroque fine arts. Made and handsculpted from Epoxyclay. Adorned with Taxidermy attributes such as Hawkwings. A Hawk’s head ( shoulder) A buzzardskull adornment set with the wings of a swallowtail butterfly and surrounded by the ribs of a rattlesnake embodying the very power and grace of the Sun.
Her shrug is entirely made of hawk and buzzard feathers dipped in a tad of iridescent green. She is dressed in the skin of a snake.
Her eyes are made of white agate, a pure germstone and which gives her a mysterious gaze. White Agate is a chalcedony, stone that comes with inclusions and find banding that shows different layers of opacity and translucency. This milky stone and its bands were formed by lava moving slowly over stones, where pressure, high temperature and the weight formed places where this stone could be formed. It’s a grounding stone that brings calm and stability which enhances intuition. ( The light of the soul)
Sunna turned out how I had envisioned her. She is very large and would look amazing on a graceful pillar set to a light background where she will catch the eye of anyone who would enter the residence where she may shine.
